Green Areas in Cities… A Problem or a Solution?

Three basic elements will influence our discussions:

1. The introduction of green ‘wedges’ from the rural edges into the hearts of our cities, with proper and well identified city entrances
   
   
2. The provision of inter-connected, urban green networks in our cities, in the same way we expect infrastructure network co-ordination
   
   
3. The legal protection of our natural environment and biodiversity
